How to Download and Install a Lineage 2 Client
A clean client contains the original game files with no changes. To connect to a specific server, you install its patch on top; each server decides which files the patch contains. Download the patch only from the server's official website: every project has its own.
The client has to match the server's chronicle: you cannot join an Interlude server with a High Five client. The chronicle is listed in every server announcement on TopServers200. Interlude and High Five are the most common choices, while clients for Classic and newer chronicles take 10 GB or more.
To install the client, download it and unpack it into a folder whose path has no non-Latin characters. Then copy the server patch into the client folder, replacing the files, and start the game the way the server's website describes.
