Chronicle 3: Rise of Darkness

Rise of Darkness was released in May 2005. It added Combat Points (CP), a defensive buffer that is spent in PvP before HP, and the Wyvern, a flying dragon used in sieges. New players got an easier start with early bonuses and free buffs from a guide in every town.

What C3 added

CP — a separate PvP buffer that differs by class.
Wyvern — the final evolution of the Strider, used in sieges.
Seven Signs — two factions compete for the Seals and access to special dungeons.
Help for newcomers — extra rewards for the first quests.
